Screenoma searches the literature for your products every day, removes duplicates, and pre-checks each possible case against the ICSR minimum criteria with quoted evidence. Your reviewers decide in one click, with a full record of who decided what.

The problem
Someone on your team runs the same searches, reads hundreds of abstracts and copies results into a spreadsheet, every week, for every product.
Brand names, misspellings, local journals and preprints get missed, and the same case appears in several articles.
Day 0 starts when an article meets the minimum criteria: 15 days for serious and 90 days for non-serious ICSRs in the EU. Late screening eats that time.
What did you search, when, and who decided what and why? A spreadsheet rarely answers all of that.
Tick what applies. Two or more and we are probably worth a 20-minute call.
What changes
Daily searches of PubMed, Europe PMC (incl. preprints), OpenAlex and Crossref run themselves for every product and synonym. Your team reviews a short, ranked queue instead of raw search results.
Brand names, synonyms, preprints and broad indexes are searched together; duplicates across sources are merged so each article is reviewed once.
The Corvus Engine checks patient, reporter, suspect product and adverse event, quotes the evidence and extracts case details, so reviewers confirm instead of reading from scratch, and day 0 is caught early.
What was searched and when, every engine output, every decision with who, when and why, e-signed and versioned, plus a weekly report.

How the Corvus Engine works
The engine behind Screenoma. It does the searching and first-pass case assessment so your qualified reviewers spend their time deciding, not reading.
Every product and its brand names and synonyms is searched daily across PubMed, Europe PMC (including preprints), OpenAlex and Crossref, plus Embase, Scopus and other paid databases on your own licence.
The same paper found in several places is merged into one record, and articles already seen are not shown again, so each one is reviewed once.
Each relevant article is checked against the four minimum ICSR criteria: identifiable patient, identifiable reporter, suspect product and adverse event. Every criterion comes with a quote from the text, plus a proposed decision, a confidence score and extracted case details such as seriousness and outcome when stated.
In Assist mode the engine proposes and your reviewer decides. On Professional, Full auto applies only clear, high-confidence results and sends anything uncertain to a person.
Your team’s signed decisions and overrides for a product guide the engine’s future checks for that product, for your organisation only. Every search run, engine output and e-signed, versioned decision goes into a tamper-evident audit trail.
The engine supports decisions and can be wrong. A qualified person stays responsible, and anything unclear goes to a human.
Savings example
In-house team
≈ ₹38,000 / month
Estimate: about 3 hours of screening per product per week plus 1 hour of senior QC, at a typical Indian drug safety associate salary (median ₹3.85 lakh a year1, plus employment overheads).
Outsourced vendor
₹27,000–55,000 / month
Published vendor rates are roughly ₹5,400–11,000 per product per month2,3.
Screenoma Starter + your review
≈ ₹26,000 / month
₹14,900 plan, plus an estimated ₹11,000 of qualified reviewer time, because a person still checks what the AI proposes.
At 20 products
₹1,995 per product a month
on Professional, against roughly ₹5,400–11,000 per product from a vendor.
Example estimate, not measured customer data; your numbers will vary. Sources: 1 PayScale India, 2026 · 2 The Pharma Partner (KES 8–15k/product) · 3 SafePhV benchmark (£18k/yr for 15 products). Currency converted at approximate rates.
Built on how literature monitoring actually works
Screenoma screens daily and keeps a dated log of each search.
Local journals in countries where your products are sold matter too. OpenAlex and Crossref widen coverage beyond biomedical indexes; regional sources can be added with you.
The same patient can appear in several articles and sources. Articles are merged across sources and flagged for reviewers so one case is not reported twice.
A valid ICSR needs an identifiable patient, an identifiable reporter, a suspect product and an adverse reaction. Each is checked with a quote from the text.
Already licensed for Embase (or other paid databases)? Connect your own licence (API access required) and Screenoma screens it too: available on request. Paid databases are not included in plans and are not integrated today; we set each one up with you using your licence.
Straight talk
AI suggests; qualified people decide. Assist mode (human sign-off) is the default and what we recommend. Full auto is optional and only applies confident, unambiguous decisions; your company stays responsible for case validity and reporting.
Embase, Scopus, Web of Science and similar are not included. If you have a licence with API access, we connect it with you; without one we search PubMed, Europe PMC (incl. preprints), OpenAlex and Crossref only.
We find, screen and triage literature. Case processing, MedDRA coding and E2B submission stay in your safety database.
How buying works
We learn your products, markets, current process and pain. If we are not a fit, we say so and point you elsewhere.
We run Screenoma on two or three of your real products so your team judges real output, not slides.
Your IT team reviews how the service works, where data is hosted and our service providers.
Monthly plan via Razorpay, or an order form for Enterprise. No setup fee, cancel any time.
Products, synonyms and search strategy set up with you in week one; first screen the same day.
Who is usually involved: the head of safety (signs off the approach), PV operations (daily users), IT (security review) and procurement (contract). We can brief each of them directly.

Fair questions
Fair: budgets in PV are tight. Compare it with the hours your team or vendor spends on screening and first-pass triage each month; the example above shows how the maths can work, but use your own numbers. If you only monitor one or two products with very little literature, manual screening may honestly be cheaper.
Understandable. Searches contain product names, not personal data; articles are published literature. Account data is minimal and hosted on Cloudflare; see our privacy policy.
Then you already know the value. The questions are cost per month, how quickly cases reach you, and whether you can see the search strategy and audit trail yourself. Some teams run Screenoma alongside a vendor for a month to compare. If your vendor serves you well, keep them.
Most of the effort is listing products and synonyms. We do it with you in week one, screen the last 30 days the same day, and you can run in parallel with your current process until you are confident.
It can be wrong, and model confidence is not measured accuracy. That is why Assist mode is the default, anything unclear goes to a human, and every Corvus Engine output is logged with its engine version.
No. Plans are paid from day one and you can cancel any time. To see real output on your products before buying, ask for a demo on the fit call.
Decision support only. Screenoma is decision-support software for literature screening and AI-assisted ICSR triage. Automated triage and AI assessment can miss or misclassify articles; your company and its qualified users remain responsible for reviewing the literature and for all case reporting decisions.
